Heated entrance mats are designed for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and other locations during the winter season. These mats are constructed from non-slip, UV protected rubber, ensuring suitability for outdoor use. Each mat features 3/8" diameter grommet holes along each side, approximately every 3 feet, allowing for secure attachment to the surface. The heating element is electrically operated and is sandwiched between two layers of durable non-slip rubber, providing wear resistance comparable to that of automobile tires. The mats plug into any standard outlet via a GFCI protected 6' power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". They maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature and can melt snow at an average rate of approximately 2" per hour. The product also comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
