This 4ft x 6ft HeatTrak® Pro commercial-grade industrial snow melting walkway mat features beveled edges on all four sides, with an option for beveled edges on two ends only, to enhance access and ensure ADA compliance, making it suitable for wider doorway entrances. Each mat is equipped with its own ELCI power unit (Equipment Leakage Circuit Interrupter) and includes an 11ft cable composed of 6ft from the power unit and a 5ft connector cord from the mat. The heating element is electrically operated and sandwiched between two protective surfaces made of flame-retardant reinforced material, offering durability comparable to automobile tires and the ability to withstand harsh wear. The mat generates heat capable of melting snow at a rate of 2 inches per hour and can be secured to the ground using built-in grommet holes. Designed for continuous outdoor use throughout the entire winter season, the mat operates as a stand-alone item without the capability to connect to other products.
