Heated entrance mats are designed for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and similar areas during the winter season. They are constructed with non-slip, UV protected rubber, making them suitable for outdoor use. The mats feature 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side (approximately every 3 feet) for securing the mat to the surface. Each mat incorporates an electrically operated heating element encased between two layers of non-slip rubber, providing durability comparable to that of automobile tires and ensuring wear resistance. The mats plug into any standard outlet via a GFCI protected, 6' power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". They maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature and can melt snow at an average rate of approximately 2" per hour; therefore, it is recommended to turn the mat on before snowfall. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
