HeatTrak® snow and ice melting walkway mats measure 2' x 20' and operate at 120V, making them suitable for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and other winter applications. These entrance mats feature non-slip, UV protected rubber that ensures durability and safety during outdoor use. Each mat includes 3/8" diameter grommet holes on both sides, approximately every 3 feet, for secure attachment to the surface. The construction consists of an electrically operated heating element sandwiched between two protective layers of non-slip rubber, providing resilience comparable to that of automobile tires. The mats plug into any standard outlet via a GFCI protected, 6' L power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". They maintain an average surface temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature and are capable of melting snow at an average rate of approximately 2" per hour. The product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
