Heattrak® Snow & Ice Melting Walkway Mats, measuring 2' x 20', are 240V heated entrance mats designed for outdoor entryways, loading docks, handicap ramps, and similar applications during the winter season. These mats are constructed from non-slip, UV protected rubber, ensuring durability and safety for outdoor use. Each mat includes 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side, approximately every 3 feet, for secure attachment to the surface. The mats feature an electrically operated heating element encapsulated between two protective layers of non-slip rubber, providing a durability comparable to automobile tires and making them wear resistant. They plug into any standard outlet utilizing a GFCI protected, 6-foot power cord and have a thickness of 1/4". The mats are designed to maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit above the ambient temperature and can melt snow at an average rate of approximately 2 inches per hour when activated before snowfall. These mats come with a 2-year limited warranty.
