Heated entrance mats are designed for various outdoor applications, including entryways, loading docks, and handicap ramps, particularly during winter months. These mats are constructed from non-slip, UV-protected rubber, ensuring durability and safety in outdoor environments. They feature 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side (approximately every 3 feet) for secure anchoring to the surface. The mats incorporate an electrically operated heating element sandwiched between two protective rubber surfaces, providing toughness comparable to automobile tires and resistance to wear. A GFCI protected 6' power cord allows for easy plug-in to any standard outlet. With an overall thickness of 1/4", these mats maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature, effectively melting snow at a rate of approximately 2" per hour when activated before snowfall.
