Heated entrance mats are designed for various outdoor applications such as entryways, loading docks, and handicap ramps during winter. Constructed from non-slip, UV-protected rubber, these mats are suitable for outdoor use and include 3/8" diameter grommet holes on each side, approximately every 3 feet, for securing the mat to the surface. The mats feature an electrically operated heating element sandwiched between two layers of protective non-slip rubber, ensuring durability comparable to automobile tires and resistance to wear. They plug into any standard outlet using a GFCI protected 6' long power cord and have an overall thickness of 1/4". The mats maintain an average temperature of 40 degrees above the ambient temperature, effectively melting snow at an average rate of approximately 2 inches per hour. These mats come with a 2-year limited warranty.
