Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier assembled include a range of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings utilize mortis and tenon construction with spot welding for enhanced rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes help dampen closing noise. Single and double tier models are equipped with a recessed handle that offers a smooth, catch-free front, protecting padlocks from tampering. The latching channels feature nylon glides to minimize sound when opening or closing. These single tier lockers are designed with a 3-point latching system (top, bottom, and sides) and include legs that add 6 inches to the overall height. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers are finished with a durable powder coat. Note that effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also uniform in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will feature common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available at longer lead times and additional charges.
