Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier assembled include a variety of features to ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings feature mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for rigidity, while a continuous door strike ensures secure closure, with strikes that include padding to dampen closing noise. The recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to reduce sound when opening or closing. This double tier locker has 2-point latching (top and bottom) and legs that add 6" to height, with a recommendation to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The locker is finished with a durable powder coat. Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also exhibit uniformity in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will feature common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available upon request for longer lead times and additional charges.
