This double tier locker is designed with a variety of features to ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use. It includes a right-hand butt hinge that is recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering, while all door openings feature mortis and tenon construction with spot welding for added rigidity. The continuous door strike guarantees secure closure, and padded strikes help diminish closing noise. A recessed handle allows for a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels incorporate nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. The locker is equipped with 2-point latching (top and bottom) and has legs that add 6 inches to its height, with a recommendation to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. It features a durable powder coat finish. Please note that effective March 1, 2021, the champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also consistent in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available at longer lead times and an additional charge.
