Penco lockers with a recessed handle, assembled, are designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. Each door opening is constructed with spot welding for enhanced rigidity and includes louvers for ventilation. The continuous door strike ensures a secure closure, while the rubber padding on the strikes mitigates closing noise. The lockers are reinforced with 5 knuckle hinges for strength, and the legs add an additional 6 inches to the overall height. Triple tier lockers come with a stainless steel recessed handle that allows for a smooth, catch-free front, and also protects padlocks from tampering. The latching channels feature nylon glides to further reduce sound during operation. These lockers are equipped with a 2-point latching system, located at the top and bottom, and it is recommended to anchor them to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers are finished with a durable powder coat. Assembled lockers are non-returnable. Available color options include gray (GY) or champagne (CA), with effective changes noted as of 3/01/2021: champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain uniform color throughout, while gray finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also consistent in color. Other color finishes for Vanguard and Guardian may incorporate common champagne color body parts, and single solid colors can be requested but will require longer lead times and incur additional charges.
