Penco lockers with recessed handle - assembled are designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring spot welding on all door openings for added rigidity and louvers for ventilation. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, supported by rubber padding to dampen closing noise, while 5 knuckle hinges provide enhanced strength. The lockers stand 6 inches taller due to legs and incorporate a stainless steel recessed handle that offers a smooth, catch-free front, protecting padlocks from tampering. Latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation, and the lockers utilize a 2-point latching system (top and bottom). For safety, it is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall. The lockers come with a durable powder coat finish and are non-returnable once assembled. Color options include Gray (GY) or Champagne (CA), with a note that, as of 3/01/2021, Champagne finish lockers maintain the same color throughout, while Gray color finished Vanguard lockers are consistent in color as well. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian lockers will include common Champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available at longer lead times and an additional charge.
