Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier - ready to assemble include a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings are constructed with mortise and tenon joints and feature spot welding for added rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, with padded strikes to dampen closing noise. Both single and double tier models are equipped with a recessed handle for a smooth, catch-free front, which also protects padlocks from tampering. The latching channels are fitted with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. These single tier lockers utilize a 3-point latching system (top, bottom, and sides) and the legs add 6 inches to the overall height. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers feature a durable powder coat finish. Please note, as of 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also uniform in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will incorporate common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available upon request, subject to longer lead times and an additional charge.
