Penco lockers with recessed handle single tier - ready to assemble includes a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. Each door opening features mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for added rigidity. A continuous door strike guarantees secure closure, while the strikes are padded to minimize closing noise. The recessed handle on both single and double tier models provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Additionally, the latching channels contain nylon glides to reduce sound during operation. These single tier lockers are equipped with a 3-point latching mechanism (top, bottom, and sides) and have legs that add 6" to the overall height. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety, and they have a durable powder coat finish. Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also have a consistent color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will feature common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and additional charges.
