The kit includes single and double tier lockers featuring a variety of attributes designed for secure, reliable, and quiet operation. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering, while all door openings utilize mortis and tenon construction with spot welding for enhanced rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, with padded strikes to reduce noise upon closing. The recessed handle on both single and double tier models provides a smooth, catch-free front, safeguarding padlocks from tampering. Additionally, latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. These single tier lockers are designed with 3-point latching (top, bottom, and sides) and include legs that add 6 inches to the height. It is advisable to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for added safety. The lockers feature a durable powder coat finish, and effective March 1, 2021, the champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout. The gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also uniform in color, while other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will feature common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and additional charges.
