The locker kit includes a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, including a right-hand butt hinge recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering. All door openings utilize mortise and tenon construction with spot welding to enhance rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes dampen closing noise. Both single and double tier models feature a recessed handle for a smooth, catch-free front, protecting padlocks from tampering. Latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. These single tier lockers incorporate 3-point latching (top, bottom, and sides), and the legs add 6 inches to the height. It is advised to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers come with a durable powder coat finish. Effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also feature uniform color. Other color finishes may have common champagne color body parts, and single solid colors are available with longer lead times and an additional charge.
