Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier - ready to assemble, includes a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings are constructed using mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for added rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while the strikes feature padding to dampen closing noise. The recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels incorporate nylon glides to reduce sound when opening or closing. This double tier locker features 2-point latching (top and bottom) and legs that add 6 inches to height. It is recommended to anchor lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers come with a powder coat finish. Effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout the locker. Gray color finished only quick ship Vanguard lockers also have a consistent color throughout, while other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts. Single solid colors are available with longer lead times and additional charges.
