Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier are designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring numerous attributes and specifications. The lockers come ready to assemble and include a right-hand butt hinge that is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings utilize mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for enhanced rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures a secure closure, while the strikes have padding to dampen noise during closing. The recessed handle allows for a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels integrate nylon glides to minimize sound when opening or closing the doors. Each double tier locker incorporates 2-point latching mechanisms located at the top and bottom, and the legs add 6 inches to the overall height. For safety, it is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall. The lockers feature a durable powder coat finish, and as of March 1, 2021, the champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers are consistent throughout, while the gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also maintain the same color throughout. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian lockers may include common champagne color body parts, and single solid colors are available but may require longer lead times and additional charges.
