The kit includes a double tier locker designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring a right-hand butt hinge recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering. Each door opening is constructed with mortis and tenon joints, reinforced with spot welding for enhanced rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes minimize closing noise. The recessed handle offers a smooth, catch-free front and safeguards padlocks from tampering. Latching channels equipped with nylon glides further reduce sound during operation. This locker includes a 2-point latching mechanism (top and bottom) and is raised 6" with legs, making it advisable to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for added safety. The locker is finished with a durable powder coat. Note that as of March 1, 2021, the Champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain uniform color throughout, whereas the gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also exhibit consistent coloring. Other color finishes for Vanguard and Guardian lockers feature common Champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and additional charges.
