The kit includes a double tier locker designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring a right-hand butt hinge that is recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering. Each door opening utilizes mortise and tenon construction with spot welding to enhance rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures a secure closure, and the strikes include padding to dampen closing noise. A recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front while protecting padlocks from tampering. Latching channels incorporate nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. The locker features a 2-point latching mechanism (top and bottom) and has legs that add 6 inches to its height, with a recommendation to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The locker is finished with a durable powder coat. Effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a uniform color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are uniformly colored as well. Other color finishes in the Vanguard and Guardian lines will have common champagne color body parts. Single solid colors are available but require longer lead times and may incur additional charges.
