BSC Preferred's™ Series Industrial Roof Exhausters are specifically engineered for general ventilation and efficient smoke and fume removal, prioritizing lower costs and reduced maintenance. This unit features a ruggedly constructed steel curb cap that integrates a spun venturi section for enhanced air flow. It comes equipped with cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers, which are suitable for hazardous locations when utilized with an explosion-proof motor. The butterfly damper section boasts mill galvanized construction, with damper blades that automatically open when the fan is activated and close weathertight when the unit is turned off; these dampers rotate in nylon bearings on a stainless steel axle. Additional options available include weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches, insulated roof curbs compatible with flat or pitched roofs, magnetic latches to secure damper section lids when the fan is non-operational, and replacement damper sections.
