BSC Preferred's™ Series Industrial Roof Ventilators are designed for general ventilation needs, with models available for both intake and exhaust air flow, incorporating belt-driven or direct-driven construction. The ventilators feature a heavy gauge continuously welded curb cap for watertight construction, rugged fabricated steel propellers for standard models, and non-sparking cast aluminum propellers for hazardous locations. Standard construction is belt driven, but direct drive options are also available. The units can be configured for supply or exhaust with a special reversible propeller. Each ventilator includes a fabricated aluminum weather hood with a removable birdscreen, which can be easily opened and fully supported for complete access to the fan inside. Optional accessories include gravity, counterbalanced, or motorized dampers, weatherproof non-fused disconnect switches, insulated roof curbs suitable for flat or pitched roofs, and a filter box section for intake units, which reduces CFM.
