The Bluff® spring-loaded aluminum dock plate is specifically designed for loading trucks and vans using hand trucks, making it ideal for docks utilized by beverage and baked goods distributors, snack and sundry suppliers, and paper providers. This folding dock plate is particularly suited for non-powered hand trucks, platform trucks, and dollies, facilitating easy entry and exit into trucks. It features a platform mounted on the top of the dock with dual-spring lift assist for convenient vertical storage. The construction includes slip-resistant aluminum treadplate and machine-beveled deck edges to enhance safety. Installation is straightforward, although hardware is not included. The dock plate is manufactured and tested in compliance with ANSI standard MH30.2. Prior to manufacturing, a worksheet will be provided for approval, as specific dock and truck combinations may necessitate special bends and springs.
