DLM PowerStop® Truck & Vehicle Restraints limit trailer creep and the chance of premature truck departure from your dock, offering enhanced safety for your loading dock through a non-impact, self-aligning truck restraining system. This versatile restraint can be easily integrated with any mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic leveler, as well as edge-of-dock or top-of-dock units. The low-profile PowerStop® restraint withstands up to 30,000 lbs. of pull-out force and features a service range of 0" to 10" horizontally from the face of the dock bumpers and 12" to 29" vertically above the drive approach. Designed to meet 1998 NHTSA regulations, it includes a unique dual-locking restraint arm and a standard protective debris guard, along with a 1-year limited parts and labor warranty. The automatic truck restraint allows for simple push-button activation and includes a self-contained pump/motor power pack with a 96" hose and translucent reservoir that can be remotely mounted to the dock face, under the leveler, or inside the building. Standard features include automatic LED interior and exterior lights, interlock terminals, and an override selector switch, establishing a clear line of communication between the truck driver and the dock attendant. The inside control panel and exterior light package utilize a red and green signal that operates in opposing modes; the green outside light guides the truck into position while the red inside light warns the attendant of unsafe loading/unloading conditions. Upon activation, the lights switch to red outside and green inside, signaling to the driver not to move while indicating safety for the attendant. High-visibility exterior caution signs are included to inform the driver to proceed only when the light is green. Additionally, a rig sensor bar notifies the operator with an audible alarm if the restraint is not securely engaged on the trailer's rear impact.
