The Bluff® Steel Red Pin Heavy Duty Dock Board features dual positioning pins on each side for enhanced flexibility and safety, making it an ideal solution for challenging angled parking situations such as park-out scenarios. This dock board accommodates refrigerated trailers and overseas containers, with full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins on 2" centers to improve adjustability and safety. Its design allows trucks below dock level to utilize the board without needing to turn it around. The dock board includes fold-down 11"W x 4"H lifting loops (on 27" centers) for convenient forklift transport and positioning, while contoured curbs prevent runoffs and forklift tire damage. Constructed with all-welded steel for durability in high-traffic, multiple-shift docks, it incorporates one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. The dock board complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. Capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum, and stackers or other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on the dock board. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, and the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference (HT) indicates the height difference above the dock, with a 14% grade applicable to pallet trucks and electric forklifts, and a 19% grade applicable to gas-powered forklifts. Application height is up to 7" above the dock or 3" below the dock with a propane or gas forklift, and up to 5" above the dock or 3" below the dock with an electric forklift or pallet jack.
