The Bluff® Speedy Board® steel dock board with forklift tine notches features integral fork cut-outs for easy and safe maneuvering, allowing the forklift driver to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the seat. The board’s leading edge includes twin notched holes enabling the driver to scoop and move the board without raising lifting loops or securing chains, enhancing safety and productivity in high-traffic dock operations. Constructed from all welded steel with an anti-skid diamond tread surface, the dock board ensures maximum safety. Its tapered curbs prevent tire damage while beveled ends facilitate smooth entry and exit. A safety stop on the underside fits snugly between the truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. The dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2, has a 10,000 lb. capacity with an 11° bend on the truck end, and the capacity is rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended. Refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. The application height supports up to 5" above dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 3" above dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
