The Bluff® Speedy Board® steel dock board with forklift tine notches features integral fork cut-outs that enable the forklift driver to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without leaving the forklift seat. It has twin notched holes on the leading edge for easy scooping, eliminating the need to raise lifting loops or secure chains, which enhances productivity and safety in high-traffic dock operations. Constructed from all welded steel, the dock board includes an anti-skid diamond tread surface for maximum safety, tapered curbs to prevent tire damage, and beveled ends for smooth entry and exit. A safety stop on the underside fits securely between the truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. The board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. It supports a 10,000 lb. capacity with an 11° bend on the truck end and is rated for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width of the board should be 12 inches greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width 6 inches less than the overall width. It is not recommended for use with stackers or narrow aisle loaders, and refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. The application height accommodates up to 9 inches above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 7 inches with electric forklifts or pallet jacks. Capacity refers to the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck.
