The Bluff® Steel Dock Board with Forklift Tine Notches features the Bluff® Speedy Board® design, which includes integral fork cut-outs for efficient and safe maneuvering. This dock board allows forklift operators to move, set, and retrieve the dock plate without dismounting, enhancing productivity and safety during high-traffic dock operations. It is constructed with all welded steel and features an anti-skid diamond tread surface for maximum safety. The board includes tapered curbs to prevent tire damage and beveled ends for smooth entry and exit. A safety stop on the underside ensures the board fits snugly between the truck and dock to prevent shifting under load. Compliant with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2, the dock board has a capacity of 20,000 lb. with a 7° bend 17" from the truck end and a 9° bend 8" from the dock end. The capacity rating reflects the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, suitable for a single shift with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 mph. The width of the dock board should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width that is 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use on the dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock plates. It accommodates a height difference above the dock of up to 9" with propane or gas forklifts and up to 7" with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
