The BLUFF® Steel Red Pin heavy duty dock board features dual positioning pins on each side for added flexibility and safety, making it an ideal solution for difficult angled parking situations where trailers cannot align directly with the dock, including refrigerated trailers and overseas containers. It includes full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins spaced on 2" centers for increased adjustability and safety, allowing trucks below dock level to use the board without reversing it. Fold-down lifting loops measuring 11"W x 4"H on 27" centers facilitate easy forklift transport and positioning, while contoured curbs prevent runoffs and forklift tire damage. Constructed with all-welded steel for durability in high-traffic, multiple-shift dock environments, the dock board includes one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. Capacity refers to the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds up to 3 mph; stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended. The dock board width should be 12" wider than the lift truck or load, with a usable width 6" less than overall width. The height difference "up" denotes the height above the dock. Maximum grade limits are 14% for pallet trucks and electric forklifts and 19% for gas powered forklifts. Application height capabilities include up to 13" above dock or 5.5" below dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 10" above dock or 5.5" below dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
