The Bluff® Steel Red Pin Heavy Duty Dock Board is designed for improved safety and flexibility in challenging docking situations, accommodating both refrigerated trailers and overseas containers. It features dual positioning pins on each side, full-length side pockets, and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins on 2" centers for enhanced adjustability. The dock board is compatible with trucks below dock level without requiring a turnaround and includes fold-down lifting loops measuring 11"W x 4"H on 27" centers for convenient forklift transport. Contoured curbs are designed to prevent runoffs and damage to forklift tires. Constructed from all-welded steel, it is suitable for high-traffic, multiple-shift docks and includes one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend positioned 8" from the truck end. This dock board complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of up to 3 mph. It is advised that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on this dock board. The usable width is 6" less than the overall width and the width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load. The height difference above the dock is indicated as ** HT", with a 14% grade applicable for pallet trucks and electric forklifts and a 19% grade for gas-powered forklifts. The application height accommodates up to 15" above dock or 6.5" below dock when using propane or gas forklifts, and up to 12" above dock or 6.5" below dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
