The Bluff® steel red pin heavy duty dock board features dual positioning pins on each side for enhanced flexibility and safety, making it ideal for difficult angled parking situations where a trailer cannot align flush with the dock. It is robust enough to handle refrigerated trailers and overseas containers, with full-length side pockets and four 1" diameter high-strength locking pins spaced on 2" centers for increased adjustability. Suitable for trucks below dock level without needing to be reversed, it includes fold-down 11"W x 4"H lifting loops set on 27" centers for easy forklift transport and positioning. Contoured curbs prevent forklift tire damage, and the all-welded steel construction supports high-traffic, multiple-shift dock environments. The dock board comes with one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating covers the combined weight of maximum pallet load and lift truck and is applicable at equipment speeds up to 3 mph; stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended. The width should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width 6" less than overall width. A 14% grade is suitable for pallet trucks and electric forklifts, while a 19% grade applies to gas-powered forklifts. Application height allows use up to 13" above dock or 5.5" below dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 10" above dock or 5.5" below dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
