The BLUFF® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between the truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops that allow a forklift to transport and position the board. The steel dock board includes two 1" diameter positioning pins and two 4-position pin pockets on each side to ensure exact and secure placement between the dock and truck. Constructed entirely of welded steel, it is suitable for high traffic cycles and multiple shift docks. The board includes one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end and complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2. Capacity is rated based on the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck for a single shift with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 mph. The width of the dock board should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width being 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock boards. Application height options include up to 11" above dock or 4.5" below dock for propane or gas forklifts, and up to 8.5" above dock or 4.5" below dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
