The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between a truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops for forklift transport and positioning, two 1" diameter positioning pins, and two 4-position pin pockets on each side to ensure exact and secure placement. Constructed from all welded steel, the board is ideal for high traffic cycles and multiple shift docks. It includes a 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and a 9° bend 8" from the truck end, and complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating is based on the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, suitable for a single shift with equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width of the dock board should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with usable width being 6" less than overall width. It is not recommended for use with stackers or narrow aisle loaders, and refrigerated trucks necessitate special dock boards. The application height accommodates up to 11" above the dock or 4.5" below the dock with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 8.5" above the dock or 4.5" below the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
