The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to expand dock areas and enhance freight handling capabilities without the need for site or concrete work. This mobile dock platform is particularly useful in spaces that cannot accommodate standard yard ramps, providing improved maneuverability during loading and unloading operations. It can serve as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp in remote unloading areas and is compatible with multiple dock boards for transferring cargo between trailers or serving as a portable shipment staging area. The platform can also be positioned in front of dock or railcar doors to facilitate simultaneous loading/unloading at multiple positions, or utilized in factories as a portable work positioner. It can be customized without a curb to allow forklifts to make right-angle turns into trailers. Constructed with a heavy-duty steel floor plate engineered for forklift use, the platform features 8" high curbs for increased safety. The loading height must be specified at the time of order, and optional adjustable height platform legs are available, allowing for height adjustments between 44" and 55" to accommodate most dock height requirements. Custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with an EZ-Pull edge of dock leveler factory installed are also available upon request.
