The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to enhance dock area and improve freight handling capabilities without requiring site or concrete work, ideal for areas where traditional yard ramps cannot be used. This mobile dock platform facilitates better maneuverability for loading and unloading trailers, and it can also function as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp for remote unloading. The unit is versatile, allowing for the use of multiple dock boards for cargo transfer between trailers or for staging shipments. It can be positioned in front of a dock or railcar door to accommodate multiple loading/unloading operations simultaneously and can serve as a portable work positioner in factories. The platform can be ordered without a curb to enable forklifts to make right angle turns into trailers. The heavy-duty steel floor plate is engineered for forklift use, while the 8" high curbs provide additional safety. It is important to specify the platform loading height at the time of order, with optional adjustable height platform legs available for 44" to 55" height adjustments to suit various dock heights. Custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with an EZ-Pull edge of dock leveler can be ordered separately.
