The Bluff® portable steel platform loading dock is designed to enhance freight handling capabilities and expand dock areas without the need for site or concrete work. This mobile dock platform is particularly useful in confined spaces where a standard yard ramp cannot be utilized, providing increased maneuverability for loading and unloading trailers. It can function as a free-standing loading dock when paired with a yard ramp in remote unloading locations, and it may be combined with multiple dock boards for cargo transfer between trailers or as a portable staging area for shipments. Unique applications also include positioning it in front of dock or railcar doors for simultaneous loading/unloading, using it in factories as a portable work positioner, or ordering it without a curb to facilitate forklift turns into trailers. The heavy-duty steel floor plate is engineered for forklift use, featuring 8" high curbs for added safety. The loading height must be specified at the time of order, with optional adjustable height platform legs available for platform height adjustments ranging from 44" to 55" to meet various dock height requirements. Custom platform sizes, optional forklift pockets, and platforms with an EZ-Pull edge of dock leveler factory installed are also available for additional customization.
