The Bluff® Speedy Board® is an aluminum dock board designed with welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, making it a lightweight and easily maneuverable solution for low-to-medium volume dock applications using pallet jacks or forklifts. This all-welded dock board features a heavy-duty aluminum treadplate construction with fully welded extruded aluminum curbs and safety restraint legs, ensuring maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. The board comes equipped with beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, as well as an 11° bend and an 11" lip on the truck end, with customization options available. Each Speedy Board® includes integral fork cut-outs for quick and safe placement with a forklift. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and the lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of up to 3 mph maximum. Note that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders are not compatible with this dock board. For optimal performance, the width should exceed the lift truck or load by 12", with usable width being 6" less than the overall width. The height difference above the dock (HT" difference up) is crucial; the application height is up to 5" above the dock for propane or gas forklifts and up to 3" above the dock for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
