The Bluff® Speedy Board® is an aluminum dock board equipped with welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, designed for low-to-medium volume dock applications that utilize pallet jacks and forklifts. This lightweight, all-welded aluminum structure features heavy-duty aluminum treadplate, fully welded extruded aluminum curbs, and safety restraint legs to ensure maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. The dock board is designed with beveled ends for smooth entry and exit, and it incorporates an 11° bend with an 11" lip on the truck end, with customization options available upon request. Each Speedy Board® includes integral fork cut-outs for efficient and safe placement with a forklift. The product complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. Its capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, with a rating that accommodates equipment speeds of up to 3 mph maximum. It is important to note that stackers and narrow aisle loaders should not be used on this dock board. The width must be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, while the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference is noted as HT" above the dock, and the applicable grades are 14% for pallet trucks and electric forklifts, and 19% for gas-powered forklifts. The application height is suitable for up to 5" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 3" above the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
