The Bluff® Speedy Board® aluminum dock board features welded aluminum curbs and forklift tine notches, designed for easier placement and retrieval in low-to-medium volume dock applications using pallet jacks or forklifts. This all-welded aluminum dock board includes a heavy-duty aluminum treadplate, fully welded extruded aluminum curbs, and safety restraint legs, providing maximum corrosion resistance and controlled spark production. Beveled ends ensure smooth entry and exit, with an 11° bend and an 11" lip on the truck end, and customizations are available upon request. Each Speedy Board® is equipped with integral fork cut-outs for quick and safe placement with a forklift. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity is determined by the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, rated for equipment speeds of 3 mph maximum. It is important to note that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on a dock board. The width of the dock board should be 12" greater than the width of the lift truck or load, and the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. The height difference above the dock is denoted as HT" difference up. A 14% grade is applicable for pallet trucks and electric forklifts, while a 19% grade is applicable for gas-powered forklifts. The application height can accommodate up to 9" above the dock with propane or gas forklifts and up to 7" above the dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
