The IKO Shell Type Needle Roller Bearing, part# TLA1812Z, features a metric design with an 18mm bore, 24mm outer diameter, and a width of 12mm. This bearing, often referred to as a drawn cup, comprises an outer ring crafted from accurately drawn thin special steel plate, needle rollers, and may include a retainer. It is characterized by the smallest sectional height and weight among needle roller bearings while offering relatively high load ratings. When equipped with a retainer, the needle roller bearing is suitable for high-speed applications as it allows for precise guidance of the rollers. Notably, these bearings are supplied without pre-packed lubricant, necessitating proper lubrication during use, and are generally utilized with shafts that lack inner rings.
