IKO machined type needle roller bearings feature a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, designed without an inner ring. These bearings are characterized by low sectional height, large load ratings, and rigidity, with most variants equipped with seals. Prepacked lubricant is not included, except for double-sealed bearings designated with the suffix UU, necessitating the application of proper lubricant during usage. Typically, these needle roller bearings are utilized with shafts that lack inner rings, and it is advised that the shaft surface finish be 0.2 MRA or less, along with a shaft hardness of HRC 58 to 64. In cases where these specifications cannot be met, the use of IKO inner rings is recommended.
