Iko machined type needle roller bearings consist of a solid outer ring, rollers, and a retainer, without an inner ring. They feature low sectional height, large load ratings, and rigidity, and are designed without seals. It is essential to apply proper lubricant as prepacked grease is not included for these series. The GTR series comprises full complement bearings with mallet-shaped rollers that are guided by a guide rail and groove to minimize skewing, making them suitable for applications involving heavy loads, shock loads, or oscillating motions. These bearings are intended for use with shafts that do not have inner rings, and a shaft surface finish of 0.2MRA or less and a hardness of HRC 58 to 64 are recommended. If these specifications cannot be met, the use of Iko inner rings is advised.
