All IDEM coded non-contact safety switches have been designed to enable conformance to EN60947-5-3 and can be used as directed by ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1. They feature coded magnetic sensing that provides a wide sensing distance of up to 14mm and offers a high tolerance to misalignment after sensing. These switches can be fitted behind stainless steel fittings and can operate from 4 directions, even in extreme environments of temperature and moisture. When used in combination with most dual channel safety monitoring relays, they can provide up to PL e/category 4 to ISO13849-1. The switches are available in high specification plastic or stainless steel 316, with dual channel electronic safety output (2NC, with 1NO auxiliary optional) and visual LED indication of switch status. They are housed in an enclosure protected to IP67 or IP69K, making them wash down suitable, and they conform to EN60947-5-3 PDF-S, featuring no moving parts for high reliability and long life. The miniature industry standard design includes 22mm fixing centres and is available with left or right cable points.
