The Idem 450002A KLTM Guard Locking Switch (mechanical only)-std act, 1/2NPT, die cast is designed to provide robust position interlock detection for moving guards and provide a lock mechanism to keep the guard closed until the hazard has been removed. They are tongue operated and fit to the leading edge of sliding or hinged machine guards to provide positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. They can be used independently to provide positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or in combination with dual-channel safety monitoring relays to provide up to PLE category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061. Available in various materials and housing styles with contact blocks, LED diagnostics, and various actuators for installation ease and durability. Features integral high security RFID coding, 2 lock monitoring contacts, auxiliary PNP outputs for switch status, LEDs for solenoid, lock, and RFID, high holding force 2000N, 2 emergency manual release points, IP67, exceptionally rugged and solid body, and dimensions of 105mm wide, 150mm long, 73mm fixing.
