The IDEM magnetic non-contact safety switches are engineered to conform to EN60947-5-3 and can be utilized according to ISO12100, ISO14121, and EN60204-1 standards. Featuring magnetic sensing, these switches enable a wide sensing distance greater than 12mm and exhibit high tolerance to misalignment, functioning effectively from four directions even in extreme temperature and moisture conditions. They have volt-free high power switching capabilities of either 1A or 2A AC/DC and can be employed independently for low-risk applications or connected to a safety relay for enhanced safety levels. Designed for interlocking hinged, sliding, or removable guard doors, these switches are particularly beneficial in scenarios involving poor guard alignment, high hygiene requirements, or the need for significant switching capacity. When paired with dual-channel safety relays, they can achieve up to PLe/category 4 in compliance with ISO13849-1. Key features include magnetic high-power switching up to 230VAC 2A, options for miniature, compact, wide, or barrel-type housings, dual channel safety output with 2NC (1NO auxiliary optional), and choices of plastic or stainless steel 316 suitable for the food industry. They withstand high temperatures of up to 80°C (plastic) or 105°C (stainless steel), possess high tolerance to guard misalignment, and resist many organic and inorganic chemicals. With enclosure protection rated to IP67 or IP69K, they are resistant to high-temperature hosing and detergent washdowns. The switches include volt-free contacts rated up to 230VAC 2A and 24VDC 2A (internally fused), ensuring a European industry standard fitting with an end cable point.
