The Stainless Steel 316 Hygiecode range is designed for non-contact guard door interlocking in food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging, and petro-chemical industries. It is made of stainless steel 316, suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning methods, and can withstand high-pressure hosing at high temperatures with an IP69K rating. The system features a wide 14mm sensing capability, offering high tolerance to misalignment, and has a mirror-polished finish with a Ra4 surface roughness. The housing is constructed in compliance with EHEDG guidelines for hygienic design, making it suitable for installation in environments requiring rigorous cleaning to eliminate contamination from foreign particles. Various mounting styles are available to cater to different levels of food contact as defined by EHEDG. The direct contact zone adheres to hygienic guidelines while the splash zone ensures ease of cleaning and resistance to CIP and SIP cleaning processes. The design includes universal 22mm fixing centers and M4 clearance holes for front mounting with hexagon head bolts, ensuring compatibility with food contact zones.
