The Idem 405102 RFID coded non-contact switch SP-RFID-M, 5M is designed to provide high functional safety and a robust anti-tamper coded activation. This switch employs both magnetic and radio frequency techniques to ensure safe operation, requiring both principles to be satisfied. It connects to standard safety relays to achieve up to Ple/category 4 according to ISO 13849-1. The switch is housed in high specification plastic, suitable for various environments, including those requiring high-pressure cleaning. With IP69K ingress protection, it is compliant for CIP and SIP processes. The typical sensing "on" distance is 14mm, allowing for wide tolerance to guard misalignment post-installation. Its RFID sensing mechanism enables tamper-resistant operation when the actuator is within the switch’s sensing range. The LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID switches come in two types: Type 1 (LPF-M-RFID or SPF-M-RFID) features coded operation by series, allowing any actuator to operate any switch, while Type 2 (LPF-U-RFID or SPF-U-RFID) offers 32,000,000 unique codes for situations where individual door activation and heightened security are essential.
