Idem ES-P and ES-SS standard duty emergency stop switches are designed to provide robust emergency stop protection for machines or exposed conveyors, making them suitable for use across virtually all industry sectors. The switches are available in plastic bodies rated at IP67 or stainless steel 316 rated at IP69K. They conform to ISO 13850, EN 60947-5-1, and EN 60947-5-5 standards. A special lid safety trip mechanism ensures that the safety contacts will open if the lid is removed, providing an extra degree of anti-tamper protection. Additionally, the button protection shroud versions come with padlock holes to enable a "lock off" feature during maintenance situations. The switches are equipped with 3 pole contact blocks that provide positively operated switch contacts, enhancing their reliability and safety in critical applications.
