Idem's LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID non-contact coded switches are designed to provide and maintain a high level of functional safety while ensuring a high anti-tamper coded activation. These switches utilize both magnetic and radio frequency techniques for operation, connecting to most popular standard safety relays and achieving up to PLe/Category 4 compliance to ISO 13849-1. They are constructed with high specification plastic housings suitable for diverse environments, including those requiring high-pressure cleaning to eliminate contamination from foreign particles. With IP69K ingress protection, they are designed for CIP and SIP processes. The typical sensing distance for activation is 14mm, allowing for a wide tolerance to guard misalignment post-installation. The RFID sensing feature ensures tamper-resistant operation when the actuator is within the sensing range. The LPF-RFID and SPF-RFID switches are offered in two types: Type 1, with the model numbers LPF-M-RFID or SPF-M-RFID, provides coded activation by series where any actuator will operate any switch, suitable when unique door activation is not necessary. Type 2, with the model numbers LPF-U-RFID or SPF-U-RFID, offers uniquely coded activation with 32,000,000 unique codes, factory set for scenarios requiring distinct activation, particularly in environments with multiple interlocked doors requiring stringent security.
