The Idem 450005A KLTM guard locking switch (mechanical only)-STD act, 110V, 1/2NPT, die cast is designed to provide robust position interlock detection for moving guards and provide a lock mechanism to keep the guard closed until the hazard has been removed. These tongue-operated switches are intended for use on sliding or hinged machine guards, featuring positively operated switching contacts and a tamper-resistant key mechanism. They can be used independently to provide positively operated contacts to EN60947-5-1 or combined with dual-channel safety monitoring relays for up to PLE category 4 to ISO13849-1 or SIL3 EN62061. Available in various materials and housing styles, these switches come with contact blocks, LED diagnostics, and different actuators for easy installation. Additional features include integral high-security RFID coding, 2 lock monitoring contacts, auxiliary PNP outputs for switch status, LEDs for solenoid, lock, and RFID, high holding force of 2000N, 2 emergency manual release points, IP67 rating, durable construction, and dimensions of 105mm wide, 150mm long, and 73mm fixing.
